Community Awareness and Education

DI project staff in one of several community visits to educate farmers and create awareness on sustainable cocoa production and the need for organized group formation. Farmers along the Weto range were being supported by DI through training in sustainable cocoa production to increase their yield and for opportunity to qualify them for certification. The group formation was necessary because it makes it easier for us to work with these farmers and it was also one of the necessary conditions for certification.
